A new study has shown that the erectile dysfunction drug Kamagra has no effect on the heart or blood pressure.
In a separate study, researchers from the University of California, San Diego studied patients who were given the drug for six months.
Kamagra is a drug that is used to treat erectile dysfunction. It works by relaxing the muscles in the walls of blood vessels in the penis. When a man is sexually aroused, nitric oxide is released, causing a change in the activity of certain natural substances. Nitric oxide causes the muscles to relax, allowing blood to flow into the penis. Kamagra works by allowing the blood to flow more freely and remain relaxed.
“What we found is that Kamagra does not affect the heart or the heart rate,” said study co-authors Dr. Peter Schuster of the University of California, San Diego and his colleagues. “In fact, there was no difference in the amount of heart attack or stroke per month.”
The researchers believe the new study may serve as an important new research tool for doctors treating men with ED, given that the drug has previously been studied.
Kamagra is currently available as a generic and is approved for sale by the U. S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). It is also available as a prescription drug under the brand name Viagra.
“This is a big step forward for us,” said study co-author Dr. Eric B. Hlatky of Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
The new study will be conducted by researchers from the University of California, San Diego, and the University of Texas Health Science Center at Galveston. The study was funded by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHSB) and the National Institute on Deabetic Diseases.
The researchers recruited 696 men with a mean age of 66.6 years and an average body mass index (BMI) of 27.8. The men were given Kamagra, a generic drug that is the most prescribed and the only FDA-approved to treat erectile dysfunction, for six months. During the study, the men were asked to take six doses of Kamagra for six months. The average dose of the generic drug was 4,intestinal-initiated doses (i.e., one sachet per day).
During the six-month study, blood samples were taken to measure the levels of nitric oxide and the levels of blood pressure in the blood. Blood pressure was measured using a non-invasive device (EPI) in a sitting position. The results of the study suggest that the drug has no effect on the heart or blood pressure, while Kamagra has an effect on blood pressure.

Kamagra has been known to cause heart attacks and strokes. However, it is not known if Kamagra actually improves cardiovascular health in men with heart disease. Researchers are also testing the use of drugs like sildenafil, tadalafil, and vardenafil, to treat erectile dysfunction.
Dr. Hlatky is director of the Cardiac Drugs Research Institute at Texas A& M University. He was a visiting professor at Baylor College of Medicine and was an assistant investigator on the research team.
